A talent partner built for technology execution
Greyline Talent Partners was built around a simple idea: technology initiatives have the best chance of success when the right people and leadership are in place.

Every technology initiative has a grey area
Every technology initiative has a grey area. It's the space between strategy and execution. The roadmap may be clear, but delivery still depends on the right people. Internal teams may understand the business need but lack the capacity or specialized expertise to execute. Whether an organization is implementing an ERP, integrating systems after an acquisition, modernizing data, or accelerating a major technology initiative, the path from plan to progress is rarely straightforward.
Greyline was built by people who understand the intersection of business transformation and technology execution. Together, our experience spans business transformation, technology-enabled change, executive search, technical recruitment, talent strategy, strategic workforce planning, resource management, and organizational consulting. That experience gives us a practical understanding of both the work that needs to be done and the people required to deliver it. Before beginning a search, we focus on understanding the initiative, the environment, the priorities, and what success will require.
That's why we call it the Greyline. It's the place where business priorities, technology initiatives, execution, and internal capacity come together. Alongside our own experience, we've built an established and growing network of experienced CIOs, technology leaders, and specialized IT professionals that we can draw upon as our clients' needs evolve. Whether an organization needs specialized execution talent, experienced technology leadership, or both, our focus remains the same: understand the work first, then identify the expertise needed to move the initiative forward.

Josh Gracey is Co-Founder and Partner of Greyline Talent Partners. Over the past 20+ years, he has helped organizations deliver complex business and technology transformation initiatives across consulting and industry. His experience includes leadership roles with EY-Parthenon, Accenture, EY, and The Home Depot, where he partnered with executive leaders, technology teams, and implementation partners to drive large-scale transformation initiatives.
Two decades leading business and technology transformation initiatives have given Josh a practical perspective on technology execution. His experience spans the full lifecycle of major initiatives, from strategy, business process design, and requirements gathering through implementation, organizational change, business adoption, and operational stabilization. That experience has shown him where execution breaks down, how priorities evolve, and why the right mix of leadership, specialized expertise, and execution capacity often determines whether an initiative succeeds.
Josh believes successful technology hiring starts long before a search begins. It starts with understanding the work, the business context, and the outcomes an organization is trying to achieve. Whether a client comes with a well-defined role or is still shaping the need, he takes the time to understand the initiative first, helping Greyline identify the technology talent and leadership best suited to move the work forward.

His career spans executive search, in-house and technical recruitment, human resources, and HR consulting across industry and global consulting. Along the way, he held leadership roles with international recruiting firms, Accenture, and EY, leading recruitment initiatives across the United Kingdom, Europe, New Zealand, Australia, Southeast Asia, South Africa, Canada, and the United States.
More than two decades in executive search, recruiting, HR, and HR consulting have given David a practical perspective on what makes hiring successful. His experience extends well beyond recruiting, spanning HR strategy, organizational design, workforce planning, leadership development, and executive search. During his consulting career, he led the people component of large-scale business and technology transformation initiatives involving SAP, Oracle, Workday, SuccessFactors, and Infor CloudSuite. That experience has reinforced that successful hiring is never about matching a resume to a job description. It's about understanding the team, the environment, the challenge, and the kind of person who will thrive in it.
David is passionate about creating a high-touch candidate experience and believes strong recruiting is built on relationships, trust, and thoughtful assessment. He takes the time to understand the person behind the resume, helping clients identify professionals who build credibility quickly, strengthen teams, and make a meaningful impact from day one.
We believe successful technology initiatives aren't defined by plans alone. They're defined by the people who ultimately execute them. That's why every Greyline engagement starts by understanding the work before beginning the search.
